Derived from the same root file, these two prototype storage units describe early potentials for parametrically defining all furniture objects in the system. The Log is 2400 x 400 x 800 one cell high by 12 wide, equally spaced, and the Unité is 1800 x 400 x 2200, with five cells wide by five high, serially related. With the Log spanning almost 8′ and Unite standing over 6′ tall, both pieces together describe the Open Cabinet’s structural extremes.
