Exhibition Bases

For our upcoming exhibition, we’ve adapted a Five to Thirty Minute Chair and the Rotational, Cat in Bag iii and Torsion Table to serve as bases to display scale prototypes. Each object was adapted parametrically to share common proportions, and each will be used to display parametrically derived incremental iterations of themselves. The pieces were fabricated to perfection in Columbus, OH by Science Kinetics, whom we found through 100kGarages. In this way, we’re prototyping the distributed manufacturing workflow as well as the pieces themselves.
