Bits Beams & Jets – Part II

In Bits Beams & Jets Part I, we exposed the challenges that each kind of CNC machine presented throughout our prototyping process. AtFAB furniture is incredibly easy to assemble, when the tabs of one piece fit into slots cut in another. We’ve attempted to reduce the tolerance challenge into a basic equation with variables for the beams bits and jets that do the cutting (lambda) and material thickness (mt).
